Meet the Founders

Rija Awan

CO-FOUNDER
Rija graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023 with a degree in Neuroscience and minor in Education for Empowerment. She served as ETC President for 3 years, since its founding in 2020 until her graduation in 2023. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of End the Cycle.
She is an incoming medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Fatema Dohadwala

CO-FOUNDER
Fatema graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023 with a degree in Public Health. She served as ETC Vice President of Internal for 3 years, since its founding in 2023 until her graduation in 2023.
Karma Karira

CO-FOUNDER
Karma graduated from the University of Michigan in 2023 with business and political science degrees. She served as ETC Vice President of External for 2 years.
She is an incoming law student at the University of Michigan Law School.
